Thanksgiving

This boy is all about comfort and he has been cracking us up by wearing his normal clothes under his church clothes and then getting to the van and being totally changed by the time we get there.

Rachel did a great job at the Science Fair this year and had it centered around the idea of influencing surveys based on how you ask the question (whether or not you suggest something in the question).  We love how she enjoys taking surveys and making graphs - she even bought herself a clipboard for all the surveys she does (for and other than the science fair).

Thanksgiving week was a good one.  It began with a little pre-Thanksgiving prep which mean that this boy got to hang out at his Grandma's and be a goof on the beanbag.

We snapped a picture for our Christmas card before the main event.

We had some fun visitors for the big day!

They had just taken this great pictures for their church directory.



Nana is so sweet to save family treasures.  She gave Ian this beautiful Japanese abacus that was her mothers.  Ian has put it in a place of honor in his room on a special little pillow from great Grandma Hafen.

Rachel and Josie were given Bridget's two favorite china dolls.  They have been so sweet with them and Josie especially has loved hers.

We had such a great night and Suzy outdid herself again with a delicious dinner.

We have had some beautiful sunsets lately and we had one that made our mountains golden.

This boy is so funny and loves being a "superhero" with the aide of Bridget's very white legs.

Here was one of our Thanksgiving desserts - an apple pie!

Over the break these two made quite the fancy art gallery.  Josie loves art and Ian was the "janitor" of the museum.  He figured out the displays, cleaned, and took tickets.  Very serious business.

We hope you all had a great Thanksgiving!  This is the way Justin works off the extra calories.  Also known by our children as "save the babies".
