Busy Weeks

After a fun Thanksgiving and birthday we all came down with a pretty gross cold.  On top of that work has been crazy for Justin and he had to do some traveling too.  But, we still managed to have some fun in there.

These two dressed up for who knows what pretend game.

We headed down to Festival of Trees and were wowed by how talented people are.

Our sweet neighbors did these two trees.

We loved this ski tree.

These two were able to play some beautiful Christmas lobby music.

We even tried out a new hairstyle for the day.

Then we were super classy at lunch.  Are booger fries always funny - according to these guys, yes.

These two were such good helpers with Christmas cards this year - they stamped, stuffed, and licked them all!

Rachel and Bridget went to a wonderful production of the Nutcracker to see our two friends Macey and Hannah (and Brynn).  It was fun to be there with Kaylynn and Jessica too.

Ian continued his funny church clothes run by wearing soccer socks under his suit.

Haircuts were necessary on this cutie.

We headed up to the Utah gymnastics preview and Rachel delighted in giving our BYU loving guests a hard time.

Bridget missed Justin while he was away and loved the books he had on one of his shelves.

Bridget and Justin were able to get away for 5 wonderful days for their 15th anniversary to Moab.  It was such beautiful weather (hiking around in sweatshirts in December) and it was great to sleep in, eat good food, see movies, and relax.  Here are their shadows on the top of one of the mountains.

There was hardly anyone there.

And the views were absolutely spectacular.

We needed a lot of protein after those hikes.  Thank you Rob and Suzy for watching kids - it was the best!
