The Lee Family: September in Full Swing

Bridget and Justin headed up Farmington Canyon for a little trail running. It was beautiful.

Justin took some pictures on his trips around the state for work. We really do live in a beautiful place!

Rachel enjoyed smores.

These cuties jumped in the rain.

She lost a tooth!

Justin helped to open up a Rock the Vote concert up in Ogden. It ended up with 500 people.

We headed to the Discovery Gateway children's museum and it did not disappoint. They loved this life flight that had surgery and command centers attached.

This kid could have played with this pinewood derby track for eternity. We had to pull him away which he yelled, "I hate it when people make me stop racing cars!"

Andy was just a little enthralled with this crane.

Rachel was such a good sport to play with the littles. This little house was adorable.

Justin and Bridget braved Timp with India and one of her friends on a stormy morning (in our defense it was supposed to clear up the time we were planning on getting on the trail).

It was pretty slippery, but so beautiful.

Justin took the kids running on the Bountiful High track and they really like the big B.

This girl lost both of the front teeth!

1st grader homework is adorable. Rad apples are the best!

Bridget took these three to a Bees game (poor Justin got pneumonia and Josie stayed home to be his helper).

It was a fun night.

Andy loves to hang out with his friend Levi whenever we get the chance. Here is his cute buddy at storytime.

And he loved those sunflowers of his until the very end. He was excited to give some bouquets to a few neighbors.

Our Ian earned his Wolf rank at Cub Scouts. He was a little goofy after the exciting night.

This cute dancer began ballet at the Bountiful School of Ballet.

We went to a great production of Hello Dolly at CenterPoint and these friends were delighted that their favorite teacher of all time, Mrs. York, was onstage.

Bridget was majorly stressed out in the home selling department and this is how she had to resort to fixing the dirty dish problem for a showing (yes, those are jammed in the car). For the record it took a little over a week to get everything under contract and squared away. It felt much longer than that though!

These great grandparents were able to join Ian for Grandparents Day. We'd have loved to take Nana and Grandad too but didn't want to make them drive up in the middle of the week.

This girl was nervous for the state fair and her last goat showing (we're done now that we're moving farther away).

But she came out on the very top! She received 1st place for showmanship - the grand champion of her division.

She really has put in a lot of hard work and we were so proud of her poise and confidence this year. She is a mighty cute little goat girl.

Bridget and Andy headed on a little high up Memory Grove. This little one wanted to show off his muscles.

We had an incredible experience of going to an hour with Emmanuel Ax where he wanted to meet some piano students in Salt Lake. There were about 50 of us there and he just chatted, answered questions, and played incredible music. My sweet friend Monica came with her boys and I loved her notes from the event. "Learn to play the piano because it's a fun thing to do, and you can do it your whole life. Learn to do other things that are fun to you as well, like sports (his children are tennis players). Be interested in lot of things. You don't have to be the "best at something for it to be extremely enjoyable, satisfying, and worthwhile. Don't be too hard on yourself, just do your best every day. A successful performance is one in which you make a connection with your audience." He certainly did just that. Bridget was totally charmed by his kindness and genuine personality. As he left the room he joked, "make sure to practice - just not too hard."

Next up was the state fair to visit Dad on a day he was trying to get people registered to vote.

They were such good listeners and we made it in and out in one piece!

These crazies were "ninja training" one day by trying to keep Rachel down.

We lovingly call the other snaggle tooth "crazy Nanny McPhee."

And in all of our spare time we like to fit in a soccer season for Rachel. She has a great coach and her team is named the Macaroni Foxes, which is just awesome.
