December Fun

Things are settling down here and we now have a computer that can store all these pictures so we're trying to catch up!  In no particular order, here is what our family was up to during December.

 Josie did a great job at her holiday violin recital.

 We loved the lights at Temple Square,

 and the incredible candy windows at City Center.

 An exciting perk of the new house was a firetruck holiday parade where Santa waved at some seriously excited kids!

Bridget was able to play in two great holiday shows.  One with Kristen Morris and the Miller family and one with Chase Peterson's orchestra.

Ian and Josie insisted on some holiday crafts.

 
Justin had a great time in D.C. with Derek for a work trip and they squeezed in some sight seeing and a fun hockey game.

 The hotel was pretty nice and across the street from the White House.

 Here was part of the light display at the White House.

 This cute girl decided to keep growing up too quickly and got some braces.

Bridget and Monica Chamberlain played a really fun arrangement of Let It Snow (the Piano Guys) at an Relief Society party.

 We played at the care center with the Chamberlain family.

 These guys were crazy as usual.

 Andy loved playing every game he could get someone to play with him.

 Josie had a winter dance showcase.  She was serious business and did a great job.

 These two loved taking some selfies.

 Artwork was created.

 Ian and Rachel played for the holiday open house at the Bountiful Davis Art Center.

 
Justin had a crazy year at work to say the least and to top off the election the results were certified for Donald Trump to a very enraged audience.

Justin's face was serious business - people said he looked like a body guard no one wanted to mess with!

 We visited Josie's class for some gingerbread making.

 Rachel had a little fun with her funny friends.

 Ian and Justin headed to a Jazz game and had a great night.

 We spent some time at the zoo.

 Christmas and Christmas Eve were so much fun.  We loved having Nana and Grandad visit.

 Grandma read her original copy of Tosslehead (before she'd had a copied version).

 Nana and Grandad did a fun reveal for a Disney Cruise!  We're so excited!

 Josie loved her Moana doll and music just a little.  Here she is listening in the bustle of the morning.

 It was a beautiful snowy day - with nothing the day before.

 This girl couldn't get enough singing time in.

 Even the crepes were happy.

 Playing in the snow was a good workout for Justin the amazing sled-pulling Dad.

 Dessert ended up on the face of this cutie.

 Ian loved Origami Yoda and this one began a little origami obsession.

 Fingernails were painted and fun was had by all...

even our photobomber.
