March Madness

This poor boy gets woken up from naps most days to go and get kids from school.  This is how he rolls when he's still pretty much asleep.

Andy was bored during Bridget's dentist appointment so he took some pictures.

Josie got to go to gymnastics with Justin, Grandma, and Grandpa.  She picked each part of this cute outfit.  Go Utes!

Josie's friend Macey had a birthday and we got this picture of them at lunch.

Andy had a turn for a date with Bridget and rocked the bowling alley.

We had a read-a-thon to raise money for refugees.  These guys were more than happy to oblige.

Rachel is such a great helper for softball and started teaching Josie the basics.

We headed to Mary Poppins with Rachel's friend Lydia.

The director for Lion King, Becki Wright was in Mary Poppins. These kids were so excited to see her!

Bridget had such a fun trip to San Fransisco with her friends.  Jane lives by Half Moon Bay and it was beautiful there.

We were able to see Dane and Ruth Leavitt on their way to be mission presidents in South Africa on our layovers in their airport.

Sea Lions migrate there annually.

So much laughing happened it was the best.

As usual, Brooke's order was delayed from everyone else's food on the first night.

Jane's Mom saw this picture (they are on a mission in South America) and said, "it's great none of you guys got fat."  We're glad she was okay with us using her bed!

We couldn't have asked for better weather.  The views were stunning.

The Muir Woods were beautiful!  Bridget could go there everyday and not get bored.

This picture had to be taken to remind Justin the fun he was missing out on by not having Bridget home.

We were able to go paddle boarding and it was Bridget's favorite of the trip.

It is legend that kissing a banana slug brings you good luck.  We were hesitant, but couldn't pass up the disgusting opportunity.

We were then totally spoiled by staying in the Palace Hotel.  It was stunning!

We window shopped in the city before heading to the main event.

Hamilton!  It was incredible!

We went to the Legion for the Monet exhibit.  It was beautiful and we also saw this one by Serat and many other famous artists.

Rachel was picked for her school's Reading Week magic show.

These two loved the donuts and reading one day.

This old Cedar High School choir picture emerged and made Bridget laugh.

We were able to go see the touring Lion King at the new Eccles Theater.  What a great production.

These hilarious/meanish predictions surfaced after the friend trip.

Andy became quite the little artist.  Especially with Minecraft stuff.

We went downtown for the women's session of General Conference.  It was a great evening.

We had the privilege of playing/singing in a memorial concert for our friend Kurt Cochran (the sound engineer of Onion Street Studios) who was killed in a terrorist attack in London while he was on an anniversary trip.  He was such a kind, humble, genuine person.  It was definitely a tender mercy we had recently been asked to do the concert in West Bountiful and then recorded in his studio so we could see him again and have pieces ready to play.  It was a little unnerving to say the least because there was so much media coverage and a live stream to London for Melissa who is recovering there.  Some of the news footage is here:  http://fox13now.com/2017/03/26/memorial-concert-celebrates-legacy-of-utahn-killed-in-london-terror-attack/
