February Delights

Our big thing in February was Rachel turning 12!  We can't believe this girl is so grown up.  She is so fun and loving being able to go to Young Women's.  This was her first Sunday with the sweet Young Women's right before her birthday.

This birthday breakfast was her idea of heaven.

She wanted to go to the Temple to do baptisms on her birthday and Grandma and Grandpa joined us for a great evening.  We topped it off at Waffle Love.

This girl doesn't do anything half way and we decided to go all out with a murder mystery party.  We had so much fun - these girls really got into their parts!

The staff was ever so helpful.  Andy cracked everyone up as "Jeeves" answering the door and being oh so polite.

Justin was attorney/detective extraordinaire.  It was a hilarious night!

We love our Rachel girl!  Some things we want to remember about her being 12 are:
Her favorite color is purple.
She LOVES to read and her favorite books are Harry Potter (read the series 26 times at this point).
Her favorite food is bacon.
Her favorite candy is Reeses.
Her favorite movie
Her favorite song
She is a fast runner and can't wait for track next year.
She loves being a library assistant at school and just got chosen to be in STVS (the school TV news).
She is a great baker and makes great cookies.
She loves being outside.

Josie and Bridget headed on a date to the pottery store.  These were our creations before they were fired.

Ian is a rock star at life.  He decided to make a great Valentines box and just took charge with this awesome Pikachu.

Bridget had a busy day at the Capitol for Arts Day 2017 with several MFA students from SUU, Representative Westwood, Senator Vickers, and Josh Stavros.

This cutie had a great Valentines Day at school too.

These three got some great watches for the fun day.

It started warming up outside and the climbing rope went up.

This boy got a new bike to go on walks during the day with Bridget.

We loved kite flying at our park.

We had a fun around the world Blue and Gold banquet for Cub Scouts.  This boy helped us with our Ireland table.

Justin, Derek, and India were crazy busy during the legislative session, but did another great job.
