So, we know that we've been slacking in the blogging world for the past few weeks, but here's one of our excuses: our little girl has some serious sleeping issues and we're all sleep deprived! She goes to sleep relatively easily, but then wakes up for hours at night. We've read tons of books and tried a million different things, but are all totally exhausted. Our pediatrician is off this week, but we're on our way next week. If anyone has any suggestions we'd love to hear them! It's just too bad, because she's mighty cute when she does sleep - here she is for a nap with her friends.

Ian is just plain sneaky! Here he is after he'd emerged from the pantry with a cookie (to get this he had to find the cookie container, open it, and get out his treat)! He was VERY pleased with himself and we even let him eat a little for his trouble.

He must really love this treat because when he saw Grandma making a batch he signed "please" for the first time. To prove it wasn't a fluke, he repeated the feat a few more times.

This boy loves to get dirty. Here he is enjoying mud and filthy toys.
Ahhh, summertime!

Check out those blue eyes!

When Ian gets really excited he has the cutest habit of doing this cheesy smile and breathing really rapidly.

Two cute cousins!

Rachel LOVES to get wet and here Grandpa is helping her out.

Now she's trying to squirt the picture-taker.

Grandpa helping her be a goof. We know, she doesn't really need any help.

After a curly-hair church
outing, Grandma assisted Rachel in this lovely hairstyle.

Here's her "cute" faces to match.

Yikes!

Uncle Parker is a very good sport to feed our mooching Ian and to play with them both. Here he had some extra time and
built Rachel this great fort. She quickly named it "
fairly land" (much to Parker's dismay) and said, "this is just perfect for kids!"
