Spooky!

So, there have been a few things that have been spooky this week: Rachel's fashion choices, a pretty scary pirate family, but mostly the amount of junk the smallest members of our family consumed. It's a good thing Halloween only comes once a year or we'd all be spookily obese! Yummm, caramel apples!

Next came some ice cream and a picture for her Uncle Brady of "ice cream mustache."

There's nothing spooky about Rachel's muscles, but it is a little strange how much she loves the bull statue on the way to our house.

Ian loves to look at books, especially anything with Sesame Street characters. Here he is lounging around reading one of his favorites.

On Wednesday, we headed off with some friends to a Halloween carnival sponsored by USU's Greek organizations. It was also our kids' first bus trip in Logan and as you can see Ian was mesmerized.

This week we've had gorgeous weather and so Rachel and Justin went on a hike before it got too cold. This was the outfit that she insisted on wearing. Who knows what she's doing in this picture. Just plain spooky.

On the actual big day we headed off to our church for a fun Halloween party. The kids loved running around the gym.

They also had lots of fun activities for everyone.

Look at those dangerous pirates. And, for the record, Bridget was also sporting a skull and crossbones shirt.

no, he can still fit quite a bit more.

Rob, Suzy, Payton, and Parker joined us for the festivities. How cute is our super nephew?

This picture is hilarious because someone in the primary presidency was also taking their picture. We're pretty sure these girls couldn't have looked more bored, but they really did have a great time that night!

The highlight of the party was a great magic show by our fun Bishop. The kids were all amazed by his tricks and it was really fun to see how excited they would get.

Our own "Tinkerbell" neighbor got to be his assistant.

We ended the night with a wonderful round of trick-or-treating (which we were barely able to pull Grandpa away from) and eating way too much candy. Then it was spooky that Suzy let Rachel "style" her hair. When you have a pirate this cute, she must be too much to resist.
