It's a...

Well, it's official, we're having a girl! We (and especially Rachel) are very excited and are glad that everything looked so good on the ultrasound. The technician thought it was pretty funny because during most of the exam she had her arms crossed over her face so he couldn't get any good pictures of her face (we did get a cute 3D one of her profile, but just a print). Rachel thought this was hilarious because she likes to "X" people (write an X in the air in front of usually Bridget or Justin when she doesn't need our help) and she thought she'd already taught her sister an awesome trick. Here are her cute feet,

and legs,
and arm. We're also officially on the name hunt and will post some of the possibilities we have in a poll. Please give us any great suggestions you're willing to share. We had a pretty firm boy's name, but girl names are harder for us.
This week we had a fun triad Family Home Evening to talk about service and clean up the winter mess. Tera was great to take pictures to document the fun. Thank you!
Ian kept trying to help with the clean-up by taking the sand from the sandbox and trying to throw it away. At least he was trying, right?
Damaris and Bridget doing some dirty work. Little Bailey in the back was a seriously great leaf-raker and probably did as much as some of the adults. We were impressed by how into it the kids got.
And what is work without a little reward? Delicious!
Yummy!
These pictures are a little older, but also courtesy of our awesome friend Tera. We went to a fun housing party at the gym and they had games, food, a bouncy castle, and big inflatable slide. When we finally pulled our kids away from the slide Rachel did a three-legged race with Joey.
Almost there girls!
With some serious coaching by Joey, they did a great job.
With this great spring weather we went for a hike up Logan Canyon. Here is Ian showing his muscles.
Rachel and Justin enjoying the sunshine.

Ok, super jealous that you are having a girl. Looks like I'm the only one having a boy in our ward. For now. Cute pictures of the FHE! What a great idea.

Congratulations! Yay for girls!!! :) This is good news for your family so you can keep working on overthrowing the boys ruling. :) (We're nowhere close to catching up ourselves...)

How fun! Congrats on the girl! You got some great shots! Did you hear Holli is having their 3rd boy? I'm with you on girl names. They are so much harder than boys! I don't know why. Any ideas?

Congrats on the girl! When we had our ultrasound the baby had its arms crossed over its face as well. The ultrasound technician seriously kept "jiggling" my stomach to get the baby to move. It was a little weird and tickled as well! Congrats again on the baby girl!!!!
