Is it Spring Yet?

Well, people warned us when we moved to Logan, but it really is that much colder here than the other parts of Utah where we've lived. We've had a few nice days intermingled with the cold, but we have mostly kept our activities inside. A great recent find has been the The Family Information and Resource Center. So, Loganites (is that what we are?), should definitely check out this cute little playplace and library as a fun alternative to being at home all of the time. But, being indoors has given us a little time to finish a few craft projects we wanted to complete. The first being a new tutu for Rachel. She is officially in ballerina mode these days and as you'll see through these pictures, this new clothing piece has rarely left her since it was made.

In trying to keep up the Lee family tradition of creating excellent men who know their way in many home economic endeavors, we made Ian a little apron so he didn't feel left out when we were in the kitchen. He possibly thinks it is a tool vest and has worn it for days straight staring at the "choo-choos".

We had a great and relaxing General Conference weekend and the only picture we have to show for it is Ian waiting patiently to eat his cookie at Grandma and Grandpa's house. We told him to wait until after dinner and he lasted almost 5 minutes before he hid under the piano bench to partake.

Ian is always looking for a few more head injuries and for a few days this is how he insisted on eating breakfast and lunch. Yes, this is a rocking chair. Yes, we know we should get him registered at the E.R. now.

The shocking thing about this picture (other than the very serious expression on Rachel's face) is that these ballet clothes were Bridget's in high school/college. Yikes! Spandex is apparently very stretchy and she is in heaven having real ballet clothes.

The weather did clear up this afternoon and we were able to participate in a fun little race with some of our neighbors. Justin ran the course and came back for the racing Rachel. She was so excited about this activity and had her "race clothes" set out first thing in the morning and did some serious warm-up/stretches throughout the day. By the actual event she was pretty exhausted and she still ran a fair bit of the course. Despite Ian looking like he has been drugged in this picture, he had a great time being outside and ran around like a maniac at the finish.
