We are officially feeling like we're in the summer season in Logan and the kids couldn't be happier with all of the outdoors' time we are getting lately. We thought that we could keep dress-up clothes inside, but Rachel has been insisting on being "Dorothy" lately. Her 2-year-old Halloween costume is accessorized by sparkly shoes, basket, and Toto.

We love going on walks and this is one of our favorite statues. Look what an attentive student she is - knee pads and all.

After a busy day at "school," what is a better way to relax than under a shady tree?

Ian thinks that hide-and-seek is hilarious and Bridget found him hiding in the dirty clothes in the closet.

Surprise!

We headed down to
Farmington to sort through baby clothes and boxes of old stuff. While Justin and Bridget were working hard, the kids enjoyed Payton's fun pool.

And, of course, the "mud house" from last summer. She was upset that we didn't let her wear her new swimsuit, I wonder why we made her wear her old one?

Ian took the opportunity to hang out with Grandpa and watch the lawn mower and tiller up close.
Machinery, dirt, and grandpa was little boy heaven!

Rachel loves Payton and here the two of them were enjoying an outside lunch.

Parker was entertaining the boys with some fun truck footage online.
To top off the fun Memorial Day weekend, Rachel found this old bird's nest. Both kids are spending lots of time checking out bugs, worms, and looking for other outside finds. We're excited that summer is finally here!

Good times! The weather right now is perfect! In a couple of weeks, it'll be just too hot to play outside all day long.
You guys are such a cute, fun family.
As a side note, I am totally rooting for the name Alice! :)
