We have lucked out with the nicest weather this week - it has been feeling like June instead of mid-October a lot of the days. Our kids have been outside a ton and we snapped a couple of pictures showing them in their favorite climbing trees. This day they decided to drink their milk in the trees while they soaked up the sun.

Here is Rachel wearing her "
Pocahontas" outfit. We don't know why it reminds her of her favorite princess, but it certainly is a special look.

Since baby Austin has arrived we've been able to have Payton over a couple of days and the kids love their cousin visiting. Here are Rachel and Payton enjoying grandma's delicious caramel apples.

Nana came to Salt Lake for the Suzuki Celebration concert at the Conference Center and we had fun exploring downtown with her and eating a delicious lunch at California Pizza Kitchen. We went to the top of the Joseph Smith Memorial Building to check out the view of the city. Nana told us about how she would stay in this building (previously the Hotel Utah) when she was a little girl and they visited Salt Lake City with her Grandma
Hafen. It was Grandma
Hafen's favorite place to stay and they would eat at Bracken's Seafood Restaurant and do lots of shopping. The other place that Grandma Nelson would like to stay was the Little America. Here is a picture of Josie and Nana in front of the fountain on the top floor.

After a couple of TRAX rides and lunch Nana took our family picture at the Conference Center. Here three of us have our eyes closed and ...

here only Bridget and Justin are actually looking at the camera. Why take pictures when you have so many fun things to do, right? It was so fun to see her and enjoy beautiful fall weather together.
