Goodbye July

July has flown by and we can't believe that school is quickly approaching. We've been busy enjoying time together and keeping busy. The kids love to paint and made some pretty great door decorations one day.

Ian made a fantastic set of Batwings. He was a little disappointed that they didn't actually help him fly - just glide down from things.

Swimming lessons are over and Rachel and Ian became much more confident in the water this year. Here is Ian working on some floats.

And doing an awesome dance.

On the last day Rachel's class got to go down the waterslide and she loved it.

And Josie perfected the fine art of putting her forehead in the water.

We braved some pretty hot temperatures to hike up Ensign Peak and enjoy the view.

Our zucchini's have exploded in size and now Bridget is trying to hide these things in just about everything. How many cups of shredded zucchini do you think this one made? 23! Anyone who has great recipes, please pass them on!

Rachel had "one of the best days of her life" this week when Justin took her on a date to Cherry Hill Water Park. She was much braver than anticipated on the slides and had a fantastic day.

Other ways we have been busy have been making up great games that possibly endanger our second born. We promise he was having fun.
