The Lee Family: Fun Around Town

We're trying to get caught up around here - a lot has been going on!

Justin did a ton of trainings around the state about the new Count My Vote procedures. This picture from Weber got him looking pretty dapper with his friend Taylor Morgan.

Josie went on a date with Justin to see Ballet West.

We had the Pinewood Derby! Ian's car "Fire Arrow" won the most colorful award.

The kids loved pushing the button to make the cars go.

They had a fun banana race for the other kids and then we made banana splits.

Justin has been doing some serious weightlifting and getting even stronger. He had a plan where he was doing the same workout for seven weeks in a row. He said he felt like the second picture.

We headed to the Planetarium for Martin Luther King Day (or as Rachel accidentally put on our calendar Martian Luther King Day).

We've been trying to keep occupied inside during the cold and several sicknesses. Ian continues to be a block master.

Cute Austin gave Andy his hand-me-downs and he has never been more delighted with his new wardrobe.

Justin took the kids to the zoo to enjoy some "cats and cocoa".

The Blue and Gold Banquet was a fun Star Wars theme and Bishop came as a Jedi.

We've got some pretty sweet junk mail yesterday. Bridget was a little disappointed she didn't get this for Valentines Day but she is trying to move forward.

Josie has been working out a lot lately. Her favorite is Pilates.

A little rock painting was in order on a cold day.

And these two had perfect attendance for a quarter and got some treats from their teachers.

This girl loves herself some fun hairdos.

And our big boy got some much-needed glasses.

Poor Rachel came home to this much homework after her Florida trip.

We have been going to the church gym with friends to let the kids run around and play and Josie likes to show off her scooter skills. One leg and one hand is pretty impressive!

Ian is making up new games all of the time and this was one of his creations.

Josie's working out is paying off because she can lift up her brother who is just a couple pounds less than her.

Andy took over the violin after one of Josie's practicing.

Josie loves her crafts.

And she got a cute necklace from Grandma that she was excited to wear to school.

She had a practice for a graduation recital with the regional kids.

Bridget took these cute girls up to Brigham City Temple.

Justin is perfecting his dart skills at work and basically split a magnetic dart.

We had parent teacher conferences and Rachel read a funny book to us for Chinese. The turtle wanted to fly so the swan let him borrow wings. He crashed and the book ended like this.

Rachel has loved being a library assistant this year. She gets her own section in the library with this cute sign explaining about her favorite things.

Andy loves to eat berries in any form - especially when we don't require him to wear clothes.

Sometimes lunch just must be eaten in the cupboards.

Andy has really started to like playing games and is quite the fan of Go Fish.

Josie did a great job at her Graduation Recital. They played all of their Twinkles and sounded pretty great.

Afterwards they walked across the stage for the certificate from their teacher.

Here were her cute friends she graduated with from our neighborhood (Elizabeth and Eliza).

It was unusually warm one morning.

Poor Josie got pink eye and Grandma cheered her up with a great snowflake wand.

Valentines were made,

and goofiness was had.

But our poor girl still felt pretty sick.

Bridget headed up to the Capitol for Arts Day on the Hill and met with Representative Westwood and Senator Vickers. They are always so kind.

Andy is getting so big! He did a great job pushing a cart for the first time.

We headed back up to the Capitol for the 5th grade fieldtrip and had a great time. Bridget had so much fun with Rachel and about 5 others in her group.
