Life is just moving along in Farmington. We have had kind of unpredictable weather (nothing to complain about compared to MN!), so we take every opportunity to go outside when it's not raining. Abigale the puppy is still one of Rachel's favorites and she has been on many walks with us. Ian loves it because he has a friend right next to him on the sidewalk. Rachel is such a good little "mommy" because she'll stop many times to make sure her puppy is doing just right.
One day it was warm enough for the first sprinkler run of the year. It was VERY exciting for our little girl and she definitely made the most of the experience.
Not only was a badminton racket involved at one point, but by the end she was also covered in mud. Warm weather is the best!
Ian cannot get enough of being outside. Whenever the dog goes out he stands by the door and just keeps saying, "da, da, da". He has never cried when he's outside except when I make him come in. We've even had a few handfuls of sand in his mouth at the park and he still hasn't been dissuaded by the fun of being outdoors.

Ian loves his dad so much! In the mornings when Justin leaves for work Ian gets so upset and cries for a little while. And he gets so excited when he comes home in the evenings. It is pretty adorable!

Grandma has a wide array of paints and so we decided to try them out decorating some rocks. Rachel was transfixed and spent a whole hour and a half at this project. One of Justin's old white shirts came in very handy.

Here she is after the project.

Our little artist!

Ian has a new trick. Whenever Justin does a headstand Ian will do this move right by him. He's busy walking around like crazy now, too. We can't believe how big he's getting!

Rachel has a new trick up her sleeve as well. She calls this the
possum and can pull herself up to this position and just hang there. We all envy her abdominal strength!

Ian is just plain sneaky these days! He quietly disappears into rooms and closets
and creates havoc until he's found. Here he is in the pantry where I found him sucking on the top of a Karo syrup container (he's also found the honey on another
occasion -
ahhh!). At least he's pretty proud of himself!

Yu
mmm, syrup!

Rachel had been decorating this "treasure box" and Ian decided it looked just his size.

Last night we went to a really fun BBQ with some of our old friends from Bountiful. It was great to see everyone and it's amazing how big the kids are getting. In this picture there are the moms we used to have playgroup with every week. Hopefully we'll get to do some more fun things together this summer!

I miss your family. By the way I LOVE the Quotes on the side bar! I can't believe it's been warm enough to be out in a swimming suit. It's been a tough spring here.
