Ian was tagged by one of his cute MN baby friends, so here are 7 facts about our busy boy:
1. We know that it was just mentioned, but Ian LOVES to be outside. The only time he cries outside is when we start going back in. If the doors open with someone going in or coming out, he'll stand there and just arch his back and wail. It's pretty pathetic, but also pretty cute that he just wants to go out so much!
2. He is a great eater! Rachel has never been a picky eater, she just doesn't like to eat any food. So we were used to figuring out creative ways to get food into our first baby. But, Ian loves to eat. Probably topping the list are grapes (cut into small pieces, for those scared of choking) and broccoli. A very welcome change to mealtime.
3. If he can't be outside, reading with mom and dad is definitely the next best activity. He has really started to love reading and will bring his favorite books to us all of the time. His current favorites are The Escape of Marvin the Ape and The Wheels on the Bus.
4. Ian loves baths. He gets so excited when he hears the water running and just starts going to the bathroom as quick as he can. He then attempts to get into the tub himself (which he actually did once, yikes!). He would be happy with his little toy balls and cup for the rest of the day if we let him stay in there.
5. Ian has an infectious laugh and smile. There is nothing like baby laughter to make you happy and when he starts laughing it is so funny! One thing that always puts a smile on his face is when we have fun dancing music on. He just bounces along with a massive grin - there's nothing cuter!
6. He's starting to get a baby mullet. Our kids don't grow hair on top for quite some time. Ian is following in his sister's footsteps by getting quite a bit of hair (okay more than on top) around his neckline, but pretty much nothing on top. It also looks like it might end up being curly. We'll just have to wait a couple of years to see.
7. He loves his Dad so much! Hopefully he loves us all, but he can't get enough of being with Justin. Whenever he hears his voice, Ian finds him as quick as possible and just follows him around.
We love you Ian and are so glad you're in our family!

Ian IS incredible! Incredibly cute!
I'll be in Salt Lake Friday for my parent's setting apart. I wish there were time to see you, but it is a fly in and out situation. But I'll wave to Farmington from the air.
You're not going to the reunion? I'm not either. I'm counting our little trip in May as my reunion. If only you and Brooke had been there. . .
Ian is so stinkin cute! I still can't picture him up and walking around!
