Last week was a little different because of Memorial Day and Justin and Rob's quick trip to pick up Parker and a broken-down car in Nebraska. Thankfully, everyone is back safe and the rainy weather we had on Memorial Day has disappeared. Rachel has been really into doing her own hair lately. After this creating, she kept staring at herself in the mirror saying, "see how it sways to the side, kind of like a wave!" One of her favorite games is playing "hair haven" where she puts all of her hair things in her animals' fur.
Ian loves this chair in Rachel's room. He frequently climbs into it to rest or just to look cute.
Pipe-cleaners have also become a major pastime and Justin made this creation for our girl to wear.
Ian always wants to be outside. He is always bringing us his shoes or hat to give us the hint that we should be out. He just loves to walk around, usually with this spade, and explore.
When Justin went to Nebraska, we took a quick trip to Memory Grove (Rachel has been dying to see a "forest" and it was the most accessible one we could think of). Ian was thrilled as usual and just walked around - usually toward the beautiful pond.
