Preschool and Perposterousness

As the title suggests Rachel has gone to her preschool two times now and loves it. The first week Bridget convinced her to wear a coordinating outfit. Here's our girl striking a pose.
However, this week Rachel's fashion reigned supreme as she donned this stunning ensemble (notice the same pose - maybe it's going to be a trend).
Our girl's imagination cracks us up and she is getting Ian in on the action on an increasingly frequent basis. Here they are in their "rocket ship" with their steering wheels and she gave herself the helmet. While she might not be worrying about Ian's head safety, we're glad that she's letting him play with her.
If preschool wasn't making her seem grown-up enough, she's also been asked to give a scripture in Primary for the first time this coming Sunday! And, we couldn't practice normally, we had to erect a "podium" with microphone to rehearse for the event.
All this silliness wears us out and poor Ian decided to nap on the couch after a busy morning. He'd been feeling a little sick (we all got colds last week) and this was the first time he'd ever fallen asleep by himself out of his crib. He also went in for his checkup with our new doctor and he's doing really well. He's getting skinny and tall (with a huge head, of course) with his weight in the 31%, length in the 84%, and head in the 93%. This boy better be darn smart because his poor huge head keeps getting in the way of his fun and is always sporting at least a few bruises.

Dear Bridget and Justin,
It's so good to see the children blooming beautifully. We hope you have a great year in Logan.
Love, Mom

I love Rachel's ruby slippers. It is just perfect for your daughter to have those, Bridget!

Mason gave his first-ever primary talk the other week, and I "about busted" I was so proud.
