We were thrilled to have one beautiful day this week and quickly went outside to take advantage of the sunshine. Both kids were filthy on multiple occasions during the day and it took forever to coax them indoors. Unfortunately, the next day it snowed again! We also have snow predicted for tonight - will this winter ever end?

So, cabin fever has officially set in and one morning after breakfast the kids come dressed up - or dressed down - like this. Ian was evidently a pirate because he proceeded to attack Justin with his toy dagger.
Probably because of all the baby talk around our home, Rachel has turned into quite the little "mother" to her dolls. Here she is tucking in "Babydoll Aspen Lee". She is so sweet with her little baby and will sing, read, and feed her little one. Hopefully, this all bodes well for future tranquility in our household.
Ian is quite the imitator and had to make a matching bed for his favorite puppy. What a sweetie.

They sure are cute kids! So is it a little girl and her name is Aspen? I love it!
