Rachel has her own special flair for fashion and when she saw this "necklace" at the store (it's actually a headband, fully
equipped with an elastic back), she knew it was a must for this summer season. She used a month worth of her allowance ($4) and has been thrilled ever since.

tv show. Ultimate relaxation.
We stopped by the Clark Planetarium and the kids thought it was so much fun to climb on the Mars and Moon scenes.

Rachel continues to be obsessed with dressing up and when she found out that Grandma has most of the boys old Halloween costumes, she had to check them out. Payton joined the fun in this cute bunny costume.

Justin is always such a good sport with the kids and when they wanted Dad to get in their ring-around-the-rosy game, he joined the fun.
Rachel and Justin went on a date this month to the new
Pixar movie Up. They had a great time and these stylish 3D glasses have been a great addition to many an outfit since.
With all of the rain, there has been the extra excitement of rain falling from the gutters. On the way home from a goodbye party for one of our friends (yes, Rachel dressed herself), they had to of course get wet in the water.
Hey, it makes them happy we guess the mess is worth it.
On a warm day we headed off to Logan's main park to splash in the great stream that goes through the center. Ian kept saying he was cold, but the temperature did stop him from staying in the water and making splashes with rocks and sticks.
Yeah, he looks pretty freezing. Rachel was so excited about the prospect of unlimited dirt, water, and sticks that we couldn't get her to hold still long enough for any sort of a picture.
One morning Rachel convinced Ian to put on a show for Bridget. They disappeared into her room for almost twenty minutes and emerged in these amazing ensembles. Dancing and hilarity quickly commenced.
We really don't take pictures of everyone of Rachel's unique outfits, it just seems like she has been extra spectacular lately. Here are her "pioneer" clothes. Later in the day she added shorts under the skirt to accentuate this rustic look.

How fun! The pictures of the park reminds of Jake and the time we were at the Farmer's Market, he ran over to the little river there, pulled down his pants and underwear and was going to pee in the water. Steve reacted fast and told him we only do that in a bathroom. Kids can be so silly. We still have no idea where he learned that from.
It looks like you guys have been having fun and most definitely staying busy! What great memories you are creating!
