We were so excited to see two groups of Minnesota friends this week. Rebecca and Nathan Robison were able to drop by one morning and it was so fun to catch up with them. It almost made Justin want to go back to law school - okay, not law school, but maybe Minnesota.

Then we had a great visit from the
Willoughbys. They were such good friends to all of us when we lived in
Roseville and the kids picked right back up from when we left. It makes us wish that we lived a little closer so that they could play together more often. Hopefully we'll get to see them more after their big move out to Utah.

Funny kids!

Rachel loves the idea of learning martial arts,
specifically kung fu (most probably inspired by a certain cartoon panda). Lately, she has been showing us her "moves" with some serious intensity on her face.

Check out those deadly eyes.

Here is Ian's attempt at his sister's stunning displays.

While we don't usually give into impulse buys, Ian went to the store with Justin one night and was obsessed with pudding cups. Even though he's tried pudding before, this time he seriously reveled in this delicacy. Even a few days later, he told Grandpa (with some enthusiastic actions), "pudding...mouth...yummm...mess!"

We went down to
Farmington for one of our all-time favorite parades:
Farmington Festival Days. It is a great parade because it's less-crowded than most and they throw out tons of candy and toys for the kids. Ian was pretty intent about stuffing all of his pockets (and
subsequently his mouth) with every piece of candy he could find.

Rachel was a little more
discriminating and was thrilled with her big find of an adorable stuffed mouse.

We also got a stuffed frog, two
frisbees, basketball-sized tennis balls, a baseball, and more
fliers than we care to read.
Farmington certainly didn't
disappoint the Lee clan this year!
