Busy Spring

Now that we're unpacked we're getting back to "normal" life again.

Josie was delighted to find Justin's Buddha statue in a box (he was given it as a gift on his mission) and he was her buddy for a few days.

 Rachel glammed up her siblings.

 Yikes.

 Then she decided to make herself look interesting as well.

The kids have been so excited for Andy to start eating food and one day Justin gave him his first little taste of a few couscous bits.  He was very intrigued.

 Ian's school had a fun fieldtrip to the Dinosaur park.

Justin and Rachel ran the Runners for Boston 5k after the bombing in Boston.  Here they are with Kassia, Kanela, and their friend, and Great Uncle Rich.

 She had some cute cheerleaders.

 She did great!  She walked one time for a minute and finished in 31:00.  Not too shabby at all!

Ian got this fun stuff from school and tried to scare us repeatedly.  When we picked him up he peeked from under his mask and said, "don't worry Mom it's just me."

Since the move something magical has happened:  Ian and Josie might actually like each other!  Here they are showing off their home made hover crafts.  And yes, we went on a "hover" around the block which entailed them trying to slide these puppies along the sidewalk.  We know how to make some good first impressions.

 Josie is pretty delighted she has started fitting into the bigger dress ups.

Ian designed this awesome "watch" which helps him transform into awesome monsters.  He's holding up his paper design and the final product.

 Ferocious, huh?

And just in case you may think it is all fun and games around these parts, here is the hate mail Bridget received after she had made kids go to bed without finishing their movie Matilda.  Disclaimer:  it was 9:00 on a school night.  Mean, mean mom.

We've been busy trying to whip this neglected yard into shape.  Here is the leftovers of Justin's work taking down an old fence.

We then finally got to the store to get this boy some normal baby food and he has been loving it.  It was a weirdly noneventful first feeding with some footage here.

Justin and Ian thought they needed a little boy time and headed up the mountain for a hike on a beautiful day.
