Staying Inside During the Cold

We have been making some delicious granola lately and one morning we enjoyed some parfaits.
Ian's solution to wanting to wear shorts during the winter?  Add some legwarmers (aka shin guards without the pads).
Josie still cannot get enough of her brother.  She can always get him to smile when no one else can.  These two are going to be really close.
In Rachel's class they have been learning all about money.  To practice adding and change they earned pretend money for the 2nd quarter and then held a buy and sell day where they brought their own goods for the market.  Rachel made some rocking duct tape bracelets to sell and they went like hotcakes.  These were the treasures she came home with from her fun day.
Some days it's just hard to stay awake with all the excitement.
For Reading Week at school one day was crazy hair day.  Rachel decided to be crazy everything.
Ian took a swimming class and is our little fish.  He could not get enough of the water and when discussing super powers he said he'd take breathing underwater over being able to fly.  A lot more swimming lessons are in this boy's future.

Rachel is loosing teeth like crazy.
Andy gets lots of love from his siblings and Josie calls these eyes his "crazy eyes".
One day the kids put on some plays.  The crazy hair was somehow essential. Here is the fruit of their efforts:    play #1 and play #2.
Rachel was asked to do an extra book report and she came up with this storyboard for Frindle by Clements.
Josie was just trying to pass the time by making a train of some favorite books.
And Andy is just getting big and cute.
