A lot has happened since we moved, so here is a little catch up of the highlights.
Rachel went to a fun birthday party for her school friend (and now neighbor!) Kalia. Rachel knew 7 out of 8 kids in her age at church and also knows our next door neighbor from school. We keep teasing her she knows way more people than we do!We went to the Church History Museum with the Kjars and had a fun morning on a rainy day. The kids liked adding their artwork to this piece talking about letting your light shine.
Rachel made us some delicious bagels and let Ian enjoy helping her knead the dough.
We set up our conference store with all their hard earned coins.
Pikachu had a birthday party. He turned the big 4.
Andy kept being cute.
Justin took the kids to the zoo.
Bridget and Justin took Andy to a gymnastics meet.
Josie finished a huge chart in efforts to try and keep her in her bed at night and so we celebrated by going for some ice cream.
Justin and Rachel painted,
and painted,
Ian found the joys of having more room. Here's the disturbing footage.
We had Easter the day after we cleaned our old home and the bunny still found us even though we were piled high and deep in boxes.
We miraculously found everyone's clothes.
The kids went kite flying.
And we dyed some eggs with cousins.
Justin took Josie on a date to see our friend John in his directorial debut of the Garden in Logan. She did a great job and was so excited to see her friend, or in her mind her fiance. Ian has given her many brotherly talks about how kids don't get married.
Ian is obsessed with the idea of making our family into a "fighting family". In his mind this entails us training and each having a weapon specialty. At the risk of major embarrassment, here is Bridget singing a theme song while Ian shows off some spectacular moves (his favorite is the "windmill of doom" and the "spinning punch"). This kid cracks us up.
In other news Andy had his 4 month appointment and weighed in at 14 lbs 1 oz (29%), 24 1/2 in (30%), with his head in the 39%. He is a healthy, happy boy and has been cleared to start eating vegetables. His siblings are excited to starting helping!
