We had a wonderful Easter this year with preparations starting a couple weeks before the big day. We dyed eggs twice and talked a lot about egg hunts and most importantly the real reasons that we celebrate Easter. Dying the eggs was thrilling for Rachel and she very meticulously worked on this fun tradition.
Ian also joined the action. Surprisingly, no eggs were broken!
One of the best things about living with Justin's parents is they have a huge backyard. There is also a pile of dirt because there will be a path added this summer. Rachel has adopted this pile and has dubbed it her "dirt house." She has already spent clocked some serious time digging in her new home.
Ian is cracking us up lately with super-cheesy smiles. This was the best one we could capture, but he has huge grins and starts breathing very rapidly trying to get our attention. It's pretty adorable!
One day Kassia and her little sister (both of whom Rachel adores) came to visit and built a fort under the table. Ian just stood there listening to the stories they were reading and smiling huge the whole time.

Wow it's so weird to see Ian standing up like that! Is he walking?
And I can't believe Rachel wasn't afraid of that bunny! I think I would be! :)
