Grandad

Grandad's flight was delayed through Salt Lake and so we were able to have a fun morning with him during his quick stop. Rachel is a little (okay, a lot) obsessed with animals and feeding the ducks have been a major point of conversation of late. So, we stopped by Liberty Park to feed the ducks and geese. They got a well-balanced meal of fish crackers.

We also checked out the Downtown Library for the first time (we'd never been in the children's section before). It was great! Here they are in the "crystal caves".
Next, they headed off to the "attic" to read with the fun stuffed animals they have around.
As you can tell, she was captivated by a great storyteller.
And, Ian is just plain cute so here is one of him enjoying the large reading spaces.
And, this is a great picture from our trip to Cedar that we didn't get in from that post. What a great grandparent - Rachel definitely loves anytime she can spend with him. Thanks for the quick visit!
